Loading... Please wait...The Rodec / Sherman "Restyler" is the result of great collaboration between
two high-end analogue Belgian manufacturers!
This unique masterpiece is no regular effects unit or filter bank ... it's a one of a kind "RESTYLER"
The Restyler redefines the dynamic, punch, groove and sound of your music, instrument or musical production.
It can be used by deejays, musicians, producers, remixers & musical freaks worldwide.
Best results come with naked beats, so a drummachine with good demo's will work well. A song CD with little dynamics will dissapoint.
Avoid extreme settings.
Start with all modulation knobs in neutral position.
Leave the (orange knob) reso low, and open one slide at a time.
Open a slider no more then half way, as this is the best start point for modulations.
The modulation depth knobs easily override the sliders, but sliders in extreme position will degrade modulation behaviour.
The 3 knobs on the left : Set those knobs in middle position to start with.
The big knobs :
The sliders control the volume Low Pass; Band Pass; Hi Pass
The indication Led's under the faders, indicate the influence of the big knobs. Green : left big knob Blue : right big knob
Band Pass slope in 12 db : 2 independent Band Pass peaks under this slider, left big knob in detection function AND the non-reso peak cutoff AS WELL !
Band Pass slope in 24 db : 1 Band Pass peaks under this slider, left big knob only in detection function. That is why ring changes from blue-green to pure green.
Low Pass and/or High Pass in 24 db: is 2 independent roll-off points adjustable with big knobs. Except when Band Pass in 24 db : one roll-off point.
Low Pass and/or High Pass in 12 db: one roll-off point.
