Notice to EU customers purchasing from the UK:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.

VAT registered UK businesses continue to be able to zero-rate sales of goods to EU businesses. EU member states treat goods entering the EU from the UK in the same way as goods entering from other non-EU countries.
These charges are the buyer’s responsibility and must be considered prior to purchase.
Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.
These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up.
We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts – International government regulations prohibit such behaviour.
Please note we will not refund shipping costs should goods be refused upon delivery due to unforeseen custom fees.

 

1. WARRANTY PROTECTION

A. Warranty on New Items

1) Funky Junk Group guarantees all new products to be free from defects on the date of supply.
2) A full manufacturers warranty is provided on all new goods (usually one year) unless otherwise stated.
3) Warranty does not apply where faults with the product are as a result of:
– fair wear and tear
– deliberate or accidental damage
– negligence
– use other than in accordance with the products intended use
– failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions

Or,
– when any alteration or repair is carried out.

4) Within the warranty period, any fault with a product should be reported directly to Funky Junk Group via our online warranty returns form so we can arrange to have it inspected by our technical support teams or returned to the manufacturer.
5) All warranty repairs will be completed in a reasonable period once the item is received back, based on the demand upon our technical support team at the time.
6) Where a warranty repair is required to be conducted off site, the buyer will be liable for all shipping and return shipping costs, including any duties, to and from a repair location determined by Funky Junk Group.
7) Where a warranty repair is required to be conducted on site, the buyer will be liable for agreed, reasonable travel and subsistence expenses for the technical staff required to conduct the on-site repair.
8) Funky Junk Group may offer a new direct replacement or temporary loan item to the customer while their item is being repaired under warranty. This is entirely at our discretion and subject to availability. Funky Junk Group accepts no liability for losses or damages caused by an item being unavailable to the buyer for a period of time while it is being repaired or replaced under warranty,

B. Warranty on Used Items

9) Funky Junk Group guarantees all used products to be as described and/or depicted on the date of supply.
10) We also provide a 3 Month warranty to all clients, on most used products we sell, from the date of supply, backed up by our technical support department. The following used product categories, however, are not covered by warranty:
– Used Multitrack Recorders – unless stated otherwise
– Used Consoles – unless stated otherwise

11) Warranty does not apply if the fault was described/depicted in the product description at the time of supply. For exceptions to condition of warranty, please refer to points 3

12) Our warranty is not transferable if you sell your item

C. Warranty on Ex Demo & B Stock Items

1) Funky Junk Group guarantees all new products to be free from defects on the date of supply.
2) Ex Demo & B-Stock items carry a full manufacturers warranty unless otherwise stated

D. Technical Services

24) Funky Junk Group offers a wide range of paid for technical support services, (repairs, installation support, patch bay preparation etc), in addition to warranty repair work. These services are offered with a guarantee that they are delivered to agreed specifications on the date of supply.
25) Vintage parts and components (e.g microphone capsules, transformers, VU meters etc) will sometimes require a full replacement. Due to the limited availability of new old stock parts, certain components will be exchanged for suitable equivalents where applicable.
26) Funky Junk do not return replaced/defective parts unless explicitly requested by the owner at an agreed additional cost prior to repair work being carried out.
27) Funky Junk provide a 3 Month warranty to all clients, on our technical services, from the date of supply.
28) Our warranty does not apply where faults with any repair, installation or technical service are as a result of:
– fair wear and tear
– deliberate or accidental damage
– negligence
– use other than in accordance with the products intended use
– failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions

Or,
– when any alteration or repair is carried out without our prior written consent
– where the fault is due to issues outside the original agreed scope of any repair conducted.

29) Within the Funky Junk Group warranty period, any issue with a technical service should be reported directly to Funky Junk Group via our online technical services form so we can arrange to resolve the issue.
30) All warranty repairs will be completed in a reasonable period, based on the demand upon our technical support team at the time.
31) Where a warranty repair is required to be conducted off site, the buyer will be liable for all shipping and return shipping costs, including any duties, to and from a repair location determined by Funky Junk Group.
32) Where a warranty repair is required to be conducted on site, the buyer will be liable for agreed, reasonable travel and subsistence expenses for the technical staff required to conduct the on-site repair.
33) Funky Junk Group may offer a replacement or temporary loan item to the customer while their item is being repaired under warranty. This is entirely at our discretion and subject to availability. Funky Junk Group accepts no liability for losses or damages caused by an item being unavailable to the buyer for a period of time while it is being repaired or replaced under warranty,
34) Our warranty is not transferable if you sell your item
35) Where a manufacturer’s warranty for the product extends beyond the period of warranty from Funky Junk Group, the liability for the warranty, returns and repairs lies between the customer and the manufacture

2. CANCELLATION & RETURNS POLICY

E. Cancelling & Returning Online Orders

36) If you change your mind about an online purchase, your right to cancel an order extends from the moment you place it until 14 days after your products were delivered.
37) This applies to most but not all online purchases. You are not entitled to cancel and return an online order of the following:
– Microphones that you have received and unpacked
– Headphones that you have received and unpacked
– Any item that is designed to operate in close proximity to Ear, Nose or Mouth that you have received and unpacked
– Products identified as Special Order on our website
– Bespoke products or products with bespoke options ordered
– Any software product that you have unpacked
– Any hardware product that includes software that you have registered
– Any product that has sustained unreported major cosmetic or any operational damage after you received it. (see para 55 below for our policy on what to do if the product is already damaged or not as described when you first receive it).

38) To cancel an online order, contact us by email and we will send provide instruction for your return. You can do this whether the product has been shipped out or not.
39) If your return is in accordance with our policy it will be accepted.
40) if you have received the product or if it is in transit to you at the time of cancellation, you will need to ensure you return it to us at the address stated in your return confirmation.
41) You must do this within 14 days of the cancelation being accepted. You are responsible for paying the return shipment costs and for the safe transit of the product back to us.
42) You must pack the returning product with great care to protect it in transit, with all contents and original packaging included.
43) The returned product must arrive with us in the same operational and cosmetic condition that it was supplied to you to receive a full refund.
52) On receipt of your returned products, we will inspect them and issue a refund within 14 Days.

53) Funky Junk will not refund shipping charges should the customer change their mind and decide to return the unit as a result of buyers remorse. We will refund the full cost of the goods only.
55) In the unlikely event that you receive damaged or not as described products from us you need to contact us immediately.

3. OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

F. Supply & Shipping

58) We aim to ship your order, if it is coming from held stock, within 2 business days wherever possible.
59) If your item is out of stock we aim to process it as quickly as our supply chain will allow.
60) Stock Availability, as shown on our website, is an indication not a guarantee of availability.
61) Funky Junk Group reserves the right to cancel and refund orders, at its discretion. You will be notified at the earliest convenience should this be necessary.
62) Funky Junk Group accepts no liability for loss or damages caused by such order cancelations, delays or non-availability of stock.

G. Privacy & Data Protection

64) Funky Junk Group respects your privacy and will not share your personal data with any third party.
65) The only exception to this may be where an item you have purchased needs to be delivered directly from the manufacturer or one of our trade suppliers directly to you. This is known as drop shipping and may be used when you need us to deliver in a tight timeframe. In the case of drop shipping, you consent to allowing us to pass your shipping contact details to the manufacturer or trade supplier purely for the purposes of order delivery.
66) When you place an order with Funky Junk Group, we ask you to submit, and agree to us retaining, your personal data purely for account, order and warranty management purposes.
67) The personal data we collect and retain in our customer management systems is:
– Your full name
– Your business name (if applicable)
– Your billing address
– Your delivery address (if different)
– Your contact number (for couriers)
– Your contact email (for paperwork)
– Your VAT number (if applicable for export processing)
68) We do not retain financial details such as bank accounts, online payment accounts or credit/debit card details on our customer management systems, however a record of the method by which you have paid for historic transactions may be present in our bank statements.
69) We reserve the option to retain any email, web chat or other electronic correspondence you may have sent us in relation to prospective or actual orders. This is for the purpose of maintaining the highest level of advice and ongoing customer service to you.
70) Funky Junk will not send you unsolicited marketing emails or text alerts but will keep you updated on the latest deals and offers if you subscribe to our regular email newsletter or follow us on social media.
71) If you have subscribed to our newsletter but no longer wish to receive it, simply click on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter and we will remove your subscriptions within 10 working days of cancellation.
