Originally designed for Prism by engineer/producer Leif Mases, the MLA-2 has been meticulously crafted from the ground up to deliver an unparalleled level of performance and transparency, whilst being incredibly easy to operate thanks to its ergonomic and intuitive layout.
Utilising an opto-gain reduction element, the MLA-2 provides characteristically smooth and musical compression that lends itself perfectly to a wide range of source material, from vocals and string instruments to impactful control over drums and stereo buss applications.
Alongside the familiar and intuitive layout of its controls, the MLA-2 also boasts some unique tricks, such as Maselec’s intelligent “ImageLink” system, dynamically controlled attack and release settings and smart range control for switching between either mastering or mixing applications.
