The legendary A827 24 track 2″ tape recorder is reputed as one of the finest ever made, boasting incomparable reliability and top-notch sound quality.
Our showroom in Milan is currently home one of these fantastic recorders: an object kept in excellent condition, with remote control and Dolby SR, with an undeniable charm. Like all Funky Junk’s vintage analogue equipment, this Studer A827 has been overhauled, with every detail scrutinized to guarantee its next owner many more years of service. Our specialist technician disassembled the whole machine, cleaned it, tested it and checked the conditions of its parts; a meticulous job that has revitalised the machine back to its former glory. Finally, the recorder was fully calibrated with the test tape, and is now ready for a new home.
